Policies

Product Guarantee

Mr. Mustang's product quality is guaranteed. This guarantee applies only to products that have not been misused or intentionally damaged.

Customer Satisfaction is Mr. Mustang's goal. If for any reason a customer is not 100% satisfied with the quality of a product, we will accept the product within 30 days of purchase for a replacement product or store credit.

Shipping must be prepaid on all product returns.


Return Policy

We are committed to providing the best customer satisfaction possible. We will gladly refund or replace any defective item and most non-defective items. However, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20% of the order. Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return products that:

  • Are in their original packaging
  • Have original manufacturer information
  • Are not used, installed, or disassembled
  • Are not damaged due to incorrect installation
  • Do not having missing parts, hardware or instructions

The following orders are not returnable:

  • Custom or special orders
  • Automotive repair manuals
  • Electrical Parts and Components (Such as: ECU's, Push Button Units, relays, air mass meters, etc)

Once we have received your return, conducted an inspection of the return, and verified that your return meets the above guidelines, a full refund will be issued. All applicable sales taxes will be refunded. The cost of shipping will be credited only in those instances that the return is a result of our error. C.O.D. shipments will not be accepted.

Items incorrectly shipped to Mr. Mustang will not be returned. Items not purchased from Mr. Mustang will not be accepted.

Core Returns

If you would like to return an item associated with a core return value, please submit your request through our Returns form. Please note:

  • All fluids must be drained from the core
  • The core must be securely wrapped in plastic and sealed
  • Cores must be returned in the packaging used in the shipment of the order sent to you
  • Your core will be inspected to determine if the core is rebuild-able
  • Core return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. These are not refundable.

Refunds

We will issue a full refund for any returned products when your return meets the above requirements. The cost of shipping will be credited only in those instances where the return is a result of our error.

Damaged Products

If your product has been damaged in shipment, please complete our form at Returns within 24 hours of receipt of your product to begin the returns process. We'll then contact you via email with further instructions on filing your claim.

Labor

We will not refund any labor costs incurred by you or the installer of the products purchased at this website.

Guarantee

Mr. Mustang guarantees the workmanship of the products sold. If you have received a defective product, please review the manufacturer information included with your new product. If you wish to return it, please visit our returns form for more information.

Taxes

We charge sales tax for orders shipping to Ohio. Mr. Mustang calculates the tax rate based on a average cross section of the whole state. If you have any Questions regarding this please contact us.


Shipping Policies

Damaged Merchandise:

It is important that you check your shipment right away for possible damage to your parts. If your order was damaged in shipment immediately notify your freight carrier, United Parcel Service, Federal Express or your local Post Office, whichever delivered the merchandise. Save all boxes and packaging material for their inspection. They will inform you if they wish to pick up the damaged goods. After notifying the carrier, UPS, FedEx or the Post Office, contact us with your name, invoice number and details of the problem. Do not return damaged merchandise directly without a return authorization RA number from Mr. Mustang. NEVER return damaged merchandise without being instructed by us to do so. This may jeopardize the claim with the delivery company and/or our ability to replace it at no charge

Missing Merchandise:

Check the contents of the shipment box, package or envelope as soon as you receive it. Make sure that everything you ordered and paid for has been sent to you. Check each item against the invoice that is sent with each shipment. If you find an article missing, check the invoice to be sure that it is not back-ordered or shipped directly from the manufacturer. If you determine that an item or items are missing, report the exception to us within 5 days by letter or phone. Enclose a copy of your sales invoice.

Wrong Articles:

If an item is sent incorrect or not what you expected and you wish to return it, you may do so within 14 days from date of shipment. Call Mr. Mustang for a return authorization number. Carefully repackage the item and return it to us insured via United Parcel or FedEx. If you choose to use the Postal Service, make sure the article is insured. Enclose a note of explanation for the return stating if the item is to be exchanged or if a refund is to be issued. Include a copy of your invoice. All returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Limited Warranty:

Mr. Mustang offers only the limited warranty supplied and administered by the particular manufacturer involved. Contact us for manufacturer's warranty information. Some obsolete parts are not warranted at all. The only guarantee with these particular obsolete parts is that you are satisfied with the part at the time of installation, or your money will be refunded. These obsolete parts have been kept to supply the need for antique vehicles only and the availability of such items is almost non-existent and replacement cannot be guaranteed. The limited warranty extended by the manufacturer does not cover losses due to shipping damage, improper handing or installation, abuse or accidents.

Prices are Subject to change Without Notice:

All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice due to continuing changes in product availability, manufacturer price fluctuations, shipping surcharges and other unpredictable factors.

Liability:

Neither Mr. Mustang, its suppliers, manufacturers or agents shall be liable in any way for any damage, loss, injury or other claims, resulting from the use or misuse, or inability to use any of our products. The buyer or user assumes liability of any kind connected with the use or application of our products. The foregoing is made in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied. Mr. Mustang's sole responsibility shall be to replace whatever parts prove defective at their option.
